Later this year (2009), this page will host the CAMRA Data Warehouse, a free, public collection of data this Center has compiled and/or created for use in quantitative microbial risk assessment (QMRA). Types of data included will be:
- Survival, fate, and tranport of pathogens in the environment.
- Recovery and detection of pathogens in the environment.
- Dose-response data and models.
- Infectious disease transmission models.
- Analysis of interventions to reduce disease transmission.
- Decisions analysis for responding to biological threats.
- Risk analyses incorporating all of the above.
We hope Data Warehouse users will make futher contributions, increasing the utility of this archive.
This data is made available to provide researchers, risk analysts, and regulators the best possible quantitative information for risk analysis; risk assessments will be available to inform policy makers, emergency managers, and first reponders about the factors controlling risk from biological agents of concern (BAC). We believe this information will promote decisions that will reduce the risk posed to the public by microbial threats.
